This post is linking in with Kate Says Stuff’s Thankful Thursday.
I’m a little late to the party today, this whole week has been a little crazy – I never thought I would be saying that as a stay at home mum, but I just did! Maybe I am really busy? or more likely I just have lost the ability to manage my time well.
I have mentioned in previous posts that I can sometimes be an over enthusiastic soccer mum. My little girl is only 16 weeks and I already encourage her to reach out, chat, and when she figured out how to roll from her tummy to her back kept on putting her on her tummy so I could ‘capture’ the moment on video.
Over the past 3 weeks she has been trying so hard to roll from her back to her tummy – she rocks from side to side, but could never quite get there. I encouraged her as best I could, but really could only watch her struggle & try.
Well it finally happened! Today the Worm rolled from her back to her tummy for the first time! I was sitting on the lounge eating my breakfast & drinking my coffee at the time, Worm was having some “independent play time” & I was watching her, when all of a sudden she was over on her tummy!
I am thankful today for being a soccer mum, as I was able to quickly grab my iPhone and hit the record button. I may have missed capturing her very first roll on video, but I got the second ever roll.
So tell me…. what are you thankful for this Thursday?

So cute! You forget how much hard work it is for them, constantly learning and doing new things

She got so puffed out! She can now just flip around back & forth without struggling so it is much better.
Thanks Robyn

LOL! That just proves I’m a soccer mum really. I think I need to be a little quieter when I am trying to video her

Thanks Sibylla.

The first roll is so awesome. But it all just flies by so fast it makes me sad. I just want to catch every single moment so I don’t forget it. Your little worm is adorable. x

Thanks Sarah.
I am struggling with balancing the ‘capture every moment’ with the ‘live every moment’ aspects at the moment. But I don’t want to forget anything!
