Hi Everyone – Welcome to 2012!!
My little bloggy break lasted a week longer than I was originally anticipating, the 4 week away from home holiday that started at the beginning of December led to 4 weeks worth of cleaning to be done when I returned home!
My break was lovely, I took some time to develop some personal goals, for my blog, my family & my career. I really believe that it is important to reevaluate the direction our lives are taking on a regular basis, and although I do this personally regularly, it had been a while since I had last discussed my goals with the Farmer. It is important that we are both aware of what the other wants, so that we can help each other achieve that.
As far as this blog goes I am really looking forward to jumping back in & sharing a little of my day to day muddles with you all. I’m hoping to branch out this year away from being a total Muddling Mummy & share some of my other passions with you, including cooking & fitness.
This year I am jumping onboard with Home Life Simplified – 52 Weeks to simplify your life challenge. I’ll be tackling more of my 30 by 30 list. I hope to share with you my fitness & well being philosophies, and of course more about the growth & development of the Worm. There will be recipes shared, products reviewed & stories told.
I hope you will stick around for the ride – I’m sure it will have some ups & downs, but I can assure you that it will be fun!

Happy 2012 Sara! You’re right that it’s important to share our goals with the men in our lives. I’m so used to keeping mine to myself, but I’ve really opened up with The Lad about my plans for the year. I asked him for his, but his response was ‘Nothin’.’ He’s pretty easy going that way
The simplified life plans sound really cool. Keep us updated!
All the best x

I admit the conversations can often be a little one sided
It’s good to be on the same page as your man. My hubby is very laid back – which I’m used to (but still bugs me at times!), so he’s very much ‘go with the flow’. I’m a planner, and have my goals – but I do try and let him know what my aims are, even if just for some moral support.
